Salvatore Ammirato
Associate Professor
Salvatore Ammirato holds the position of Director at the GIUDAlab. He serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical, Energy, and Management Engineering at the University of Calabria in Italy. At the university, Salvatore imparts his knowledge and expertise in the field of Business Management to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students through his crafted courses. After completing his PhD, Salvatore was appointed as an External Researcher at the "Centre for Research in Transnational Empowerment, Leadership, and Performance" at the University of Canberra in Australia. From 2013 to 2020, he assumed the role of scientific coordinator for the "Human Resource Development, Management, and Organization" group within the Centre. Additionally, Salvatore was appointed as a Visiting Professor at Tampere University of Technology in Pori, Finland, from 2013 to 2015. Salvatore has taken on significant responsibilities as a principal investigator for research and industrial projects. He has also served on steering committees for various international projects focused on organization change and digitalization. His contributions to the field are evident through his extensive publication record, which includes over 90 papers published in esteemed international journals and conference proceedings. Furthermore, Salvatore has authored a book titled "Adaptive Decision Making and Intellectual Styles," published by Springer. Salvatore actively contributes to the academic community as an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Electronic Trade and as a Guest Editor for special issues in various reputable scientific journals. Currently, he spearheads the MySLR© project.

Nicola Frega
Assistant Professor

Assistant professor of Economics and Management Engineering at DIMEG (Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management). He received his Laurea cum Laude in Computer Science Engineering from University of Calabria in 1991 and has been carrying out researches and studies for 25 years in the areas of Computer Science, Information Systems and Management Engineering. He's PhD  in Computer Science Engineering on “Tecnologie Didattiche Multimediali e Sistemi di Comunicazione”. He has authored some chapters in books and over 30 papers in these areas. His current research interests include Internet of Foods, Digital Tourism, Digital Marketing and Communication, Social Media, e-Learning, e-Commerce and e-Business, e-Government, Mobile computing and Mobile commerce.

Alberto Michele Felicetti
Assistant Professor
Alberto Michele Felicetti is Tenure-track assistant professor (RTD-B) at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering at the University of Calabria (ITALY), where he teaches courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of Business management. After gaining his PhD, he was appointed as visiting senior researcher at Tampere University of Technology - Finland. Alberto participated in several National and International funded Research Projects. He is charged as principal investigator of the Unical Local Unit for the project INSPIRE funded through the PRIN 2022 PNRR Program. Overall, he is the author of more than 50 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. He is member of the Editorial Advisory Board di European Journal of Innovation Management. He acted as Guest Editor for several Special Issues in peer reviewed journals (Measuring Business Excellence, Sustainability, British Food Journal) on the themes of Innovation, Digitalization and Sustainability. He is involved in the design and development of MySLR. For what concern his teaching activity, in 2021 he received a Special Mention within the Gianluca Spina Award for Teaching Excellence and Innovation – assigned by AiIG (Associazione Italiana Ingegneria Gestionale).

Antonio Palmiro Volpentesta
Associate Professor
Antonio P. Volpentesta has been carrying out research and studies for almost 40 years in the areas of operation research, information systems, economics and management engineering. He has published some books and over 100 papers in these areas, many of them on international referred journals. He acts as referee or associate editor for many scientific journals, and member of many conference program committees. He has been the founder of the GIUDAlab and the former Director. His current research interests include collaborative networks, knowledge management, learning systems, social media marketing, food information management.

Roberto Linzalone
Roberto is Associate researcher in Management Engineering at the Department of Mechanical, Energy and Management Engineering of the University of Calabria (Rende, CS), Italy. Roberto holds a Master degree in civil engineering from the University of Basilicata, and a PhD in Advanced Production Systems from the Polytechnic University of Bari, former Visiting Researcher at university of the Arts London, Central St. Martin’s College, in 2015. Among professional experiences there are an 8-month residential internship at Material Connexion New York, project management of EU granted research and cooperation projects within the Tempus and Creative Europe programs, national and international research projects participation. Roberto’s main activity is research. Key areas of research are: Business Model innovation, Project Management, Stakeholder management, System Thinking and Dynamics. In his spare time, Roberto enjoys coaching basketball to youth teams, traveling and spending time with the family.
Isabella Nocella

Isabella Nocella, PhD, is a Research Fellow since 2021 working on the topic of "research infrastructures". Her more broadly research interests are in digital marketing, emphasising social media platforms and consumer behaviour, and innovative business models.

Laura Cutrì
Laura Cutrì is currently PhD student. She is a graduate with a Master’s Degree in Management Engineering obtained from the University of Calabria with honours. Within her professional journey, Laura has demonstrated expertise in the digitalisation of business processes, collaborative networks and business ecosystems. Her research focus is on tools and applications of Business Process Management (BPM).
Fabrizio Di Maio
Fabrizio Di Maio is a senior manager ICT at University of Calabria. Expert in the digitalisation of business processes, he collaborates on the development of an ICT governance framework and digital strategy by managing and optimising digital tools, platforms and processes through Business Process Management (BPM). Member of commission “Quality of the Processes Administratives and the Digital Transition” at the Department of Mechanical, Energy, and Management Engineering - University of Calabria. His current interests include digital transition in public administration, document management, BPMS.
